Alta Peak

Hiked all the way to Alta Peak, CA; took 9 hours round trip. 

4.00 AM : Started driving.
8.30 AM : Reached trail head/parking.
9.00 AM : Started the hiking.
1.45 PM : Reached the peak.
2.45 PM : Started back to trail head.
6.00 PM : Reached back the trail head.
6.30 PM : Started driving back home.

Hiked all the way to Half Dome, Yosemite through mist trail;took 10 hours round trip. The worst thing is i stuffed too many things in backpack(overall 20lbs) which took toll on my hip and added too much strain when hiking up since was not used to it.
Anyways it was great test on the endurance.

1.00 AM : Started driving to Yosemite.
4.30 AM : Reached trail head/parking.
5.00 AM : Started the hiking through mist trail.
10.00 AM : Reached the top of half Dome.
11.00 AM : Started back to trail head.
3.00 PM : Reached back the trail head.
4.00 PM : Started driving back home.

What is next?

Been hiking for couple of months now, and today i did summit Mission Peak;round trip in 2hours. It was spectacular sunset!!

Note: This is not your typical hike if you are out of shape. The trail is pretty much exposed without shade. You need to be in excellent shape to hike this strenuous steep trail.
